Complex GI surgeries, high caseload, demanding standards.
University Hospital Hannover లో ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Fellowship. Prof. Dr. Beate Rau దగ్గర train అయ్యాను. Prof. Rau ఒక principle పదే పదే చెప్పేవారు: patient selection is everything.
FEBS (Fellow of European Board of Surgery) మరియు FACS (Fellow of American College of Surgeons) certifications. ఇవి simply credentials కాదు. International surgical community తో connection, evidence-based practice standards maintain చేయడం అర్థం.
I'm Dr. Mohammed Imaduddin. MBBS from Osmania Medical College, then MS General Surgery, then M.Ch Surgical Oncology from AIIMS. Training at AIIMS means operating at India's highest-volume tertiary cancer centre. Complex GI surgeries, high caseload, demanding standards. My M.Ch thesis was specifically on D2 lymphadenectomy in gastric cancer.
After AIIMS, the most formative experience of my career happened in Germany. I did the ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Fellowship at University Hospital Hannover under Prof. Dr. Beate Rau. Prof. Rau repeated one principle constantly: patient selection is everything. Before considering HIPEC, you must systematically calculate the Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Index (PCI) score. That discipline is the foundation of my practice today.
I also trained in advanced GI surgery techniques at Charité Berlin. FEBS (Fellow of European Board of Surgery) and FACS (Fellow of American College of Surgeons) are not simply credentials. They mean staying connected to international surgical standards and evidence-based practice.

15+ peer-reviewed publications ఉన్నాయి. Research చేయడం నా belief: treatment decisions evidence-based గా ఉండాలి, not opinion-based.
Selected publications:
Research focus areas: peritoneal surface malignancy, gastric cancer surgery outcomes, minimally invasive esophagectomy.

Inoperable disease, poor performance status, patient preference — ఇవన్నీ valid reasons.
Surgery is not the right option for every cancer patient. I'll be honest: roughly 30% of the patients I evaluate are not surgical candidates. Inoperable disease, poor performance status, patient preference — all are valid reasons.
In those cases, I refer. The CION Tumor Board has medical oncology and radiation oncology colleagues. If the best option isn't surgical, I send you to where the better option lives. Giving the patient an honest answer is my responsibility.
I make one promise. I will not recommend a surgery to you that I would not recommend for my own family.
